Question: Georgia/usa/russia!? What is behind all wars!? !?
Isn't it painful that such senarios will continue over and over as long as oil, gold, or money is involved!?!. I mean how greedy or needy a nation could be!?!. Wants all and doesn't share, or just starts playing a game of being democratic (After more than 70 years) and here comes the issue of provoking two superpowers economical and political rivals thinking that she will be OK!?)!. My prayers goes to the victims of both sides influeced and plagued by so called greedy nations!. It is a game, a political game practiced through the biblical times and a time will come when it is too late to resolve anything!. I hope and pray that US will understand and not send marines or other millitary personel to resolve such a stupid issue in behalf of our soldiers and remote expectations!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Greed, usually!.

There is oil in Georgia just like there is oil in Iraq!.

No one rushed to help in Rwanda when 800,000 Tutsi were slaughtered in 100 days!. War is rarely about helping others!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The greedy global Zionist are behind it!. They had Israelis and US military personnel in Georgia supplying Georgia with weapons in preparation for Georgia strike against Osettia to take control of the Caspian oil pipeline!. Russia who were well aware of what was going on wasn't going to think it was just a skirmish like the US and Zionist thought they would!. After the Georgians killed 2000 Osettia Russia invaded Georgia and now Georgia is half taken over by the Russians!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The OIL is the main reason of this war, also in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Kuwait!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nation can not be greedy!. Only concrete politicians may be amoral!. Most of people are good in any nation, but not all nations are equally empowered to influence politicians!. And these dangers exist in states ruled with repression structures and in states with, if to see superficially, democratic elections!.

Voters of more powerful states with "democratic" elections do not react to things, which are done by their politicians abroad, to other peoples!. Interior democracy do not stop imperialistic attitudes if people are not educated to keep solidarity with others, what is quite an often case in societies, where competitiveness is a very high value, sometimes leading to so called wild capitalism!.

It is sad to see when corrupted policy takes over, based on pirate mentality - welfare of voters is provided on blood and brain-draining of other nations, besides military industry is happy!.

I was shocked by speech of US Ambassador to the United Nations the first day of the war between Southern Ossetia and Georgia, when he speculated what will be if every tinny ethnicity will want to create its own state!. we will have several thousands of countries!.!.!.!.

Have Monaco, Andorra, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg to start discussions about self-liquidation!? I think it is a scandal that a representative of quite rich and educated country in the UN does not recognize basic principles of self-determination!. ANYBODY RUN AWAY FROM GOOD!.

Possibly the world will invent mechanisms how voters of other countries can influence elections in these countries who decide to solve their destinies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It looks to me that Bush is simply trying one last military push during his mandate!. They've been preparing Georgia to be a threat at the side of Russia just so hoping it would start to act before Bush's mandate is over!. If an USA - Russia war, even in a local scale (at Russia's side) starts, Bush can declare State of Emergency and postpone elections for quite some time!. If that fails, he could always declare war on Iran and start the first nuclear war of history, this way there's no way he'll lose his chair!.!.!. unless the democratic system end up actually working on an offchance!. So far we've seem how this worked out (cough*cough*AlGore*cough*cough)!.

Nations that invest heavily on military are bound to want to use the military power from time to time!. Still, there are cases where a nation needs to invest on military because!.!.!. well, their neighborhood is a political mess and it's better to be safe than sorry!. But the US invests in military more than anything else in the world and the closest threat is half a world away from them (Hugo Chavez is hardly a threat, his just a sensationalist politician!. If his diplomatic dealings with Brazil, from whom Hugo Chavez captured by force 2 oil refineries, ended up with a fair deal to both sides, the only possible way to make him go to war is if the US really try hard to it!.!.!. not that they wouldn't!.!.!.)!. Worse yet, they invest more heavily than anything on missiles that can be shot from half-world away, so war with those "threats" would only be a one sided conflict if the US really tried (which means, doesn't hold back so much in order to capture oil refineries undamaged)!.

Of course, you can say the US does so because of the Terrorist threat!. But the reality is, whatever the real agendo of the terrorist leaders, they're not the one blowing up and going on suicide missions!. The only one giving terrorists so much bulk of disposable grunts is the US itself, with its actions in the last two decades or so (and before it)!. The US declared war with Iraq by basically bombing its capital with continental missiles (full of civilian population and negligible military residence compared to!.!.!. well, military posts)!. It killed a fuckload of civilians and singlehanded increased Iraqs military handsomely, both officially and through voluntary militia!. Not to mention that Al Qaeda must've increased its bulk of suicide bombers nicely that month!.

For me, bottom up is: Don't trust your government if it lies to you on regular basis, don't give your life for your military if they're the biggest terrorist group on the world, just for the record: Vietnam kids soaked in napalm, active support of violent militaries in contested territories and of dictators who support the US, unprovoked bombing of civilian populances of soberane nations of the third world, biggest weapon seller in the world (the Nation of US), unchecked military operations on allied and neutral foreign soil, playing footbal with Iraq children heads, shooting civilians in contested soil for the sole reason of they not speaking english!.!.!. oh, and torture condoned by the gorvernment!. Just to name a few examples!. Seriously, the biggest weapons on the arsenal of all greedy politicians in the world is the patriotism of their populance!. They seem to get away with virtually anything as soon as they say it is for the good of the nation (or that if the population doesn't help, terrorists will kill them all)!.

The truth is: There just aren't really evil people!. There's greed people, there's mentally ill people and there's misguided patriot people!.!.!. as well as people who lost everything and just want to give the world a payback!. A terrorist doesn't hate the americans (in particular) because they're free and democratic (and filthy rich), but because the americans bombed their town and killed their whole family, or invaded their country and completely screwed it economilcally, or some such (really, the US does a LOT of **** around the world, I can't just name enough of it)!. also, it's important to know that the Americans aren't the only one doing it!. Europe, Japan and China are also pretty guilty, as well as virtually any country in the world at one time or another!. Brazil, for instance, was seem by the South America in general in the same way Europe sees the US today, as a imperialist ****** who was after them, mainly because of its Empire days (not surprisingly) when it bullied the other south american nations around and, among other things, completely screwed Paraguay in a genocide!. To this day it is resented for it, but nowdays it has an incredibly strong diplomatic relation with all its neighboring countries (while the US can't even try to figure something better other than shooting whoever try to cross the US-Mexico border) and, for instance, doesn't invade Venezuela after an international incident where Venezuela took over its refineries in the venezuelan territory (as stated above) but negotiated!. The US could try something like that one of these days!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
