this sounds like homework!.!.!.!.

I won't do it for you but i'll give you some pointers

- Mussolini + Hitler + LENIN all rose to power with an extremist party because their respective countries were suffering (economically and socially) and desperate for a solution!. Stalin was different because he took over from Lenin, he didn't bring his party into power!. Hitler and Stalin were leaders of their party whereas Stalin had to knock off rivals within his party to suceed to power after Lenin died!.
- Mussolini and Hitler were fascist whereas Stalin was communist (look into HOW communist he was compared to Trotsky)

other things that were similar or can be compared -
- use of propaganda
- use of terror (SS, SA, Gestapo etc)
- cult of personality (eg, Hitler being portrayed as a savior of Germany, 'Il Duce')
- it would be interesting to compare reactions of people AFTER the dictator had left power (eg!. Hitler is generally hated, Kruschev speaking about Stalin, maybe throw in how China loves Mao)Www@QuestionHome@Com
