No - Chivalry is a Norman / French construct and develops across Europe after the Anglo-Saxons have been conquered!.
Especially under the patronage of Eleanor of Aquitaine

Wasn't chivalry a Franco-Norman concept brought across by Eleanor of Aquitaine in the 11/12th Century!? Weren't the Anglo-Saxons subsumed by their conquerors by then!?
Having said that, did they not have a code of honour!?
