Johnny Mercer was one of the greatest lyricists of the twentieth century!. Even if you're young and don't listen to older music, you probably know at least some of the lyrics he wrote!. The great songs are just too many to list here!.
Though he was a native of Augusta, the school had been there (and called Mercer) for about three quarters of a century before he was born!. It's named for another Mercer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
