Starting at the end of WWII until the present, the economy has been growing!. There have been slow downs and down turns, but never enough to revert back to the level of the previous decade!. The general down turns have occurred in every decade with the most prominent happening in the 1950s, and the Carter administration of the late 70s!. These have not been lasting, the nature of our capitalist system has allowed the economy to grow inevitably!. The slowdown today is nothing compared to what happened in the late 70s!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
