He was Italian!. Genoa!. He had long thought thru ancient maps, and myths that there was a way to sail to China going west, but the world thought the world was flat!. China was his destination, not his nationality!. China was what he was looking for, but bumped in to No!. America along the way!. Not a bad mistake, as it turned out!.

He was financed and supported, sailed for Spain!.
