Yes!. that is correct!.

Anglo-Saxon is the term usually used to describe the peoples living in the south and east of Great Britain from the early 5th century AD to the Norman conquest of 1066!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Definitely the end for the Anglo-Saxons!.
The Normans divided up the land between them into big estates and they still own huge amounts of land in England!.
The French provided the Kings of England from 1066 until the Tudor Dynasty!.
The Kings of England for the past few hundred years have been German!.
The Anglo-Saxons don't get much say in anything these days!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Anglo-Saxons did not "kick the Normans out of there island!." William the Conqueror became king of England!. He was from Normandy which is in France!. The same area of the country where D-Day happened during WWII!. So yes, the Normans were there to stay and ended the Anglo-Saxon period!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
