No!. The commission of scholars that translated the Bible chose to use slightly archaic English so that it would not sound like everyday discourse!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. The English used in the King James Bible was a little out of date, and much more formal than the everyday spoken language in the 17th century!. It was written in a flowing prose, especially for the purpose of the feeling of something precious and highly spiritual when reading it!.
