Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: it is the 21st just think of the year 2008 and think of the next number after the two digit number (20) in the front of the year!.!.!. 21!. The reason it may seem a little weird is because the first century was counted as the 0-100 years after the death of Jesus, if you believe in that!. You would think though that it should be the 20th century because of the 20 in 2008, but anyway that's why it's not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Here's the easy way to figure out centuries versus years that I use!. Take the first 2 numbers of the year and ADD by 1!. That's your century! Like the year 1776 would be 17 plus 1, 18th Century! 2008, 20 plus 1, 21st Century!
