Question: Gordon and LouisXVI, a similar fate!?
Wether it be Gordon Brown, Tony Blair, David Cameron or Basil Brush, the housing market bubble had to burst and the king of Saudia Arabia with all his OPEC pals, will continue to produce what they want, when they want!
But like King Louis XVI of France, Gordon just continues to tax the already overburdened working class, and then wonders why the people want his head! Who or what is our Prime Minister afraid off, when he can't give the working class a break!? Everyday we hear of gas companies hiking prices for big profits, and oil companies making billions in their first quarters!? Why do the ones' at the shallow end of the drinking pool always suffer!? Does history repeat itself!? Is the working class to suffer again for the sake of these aristocratic institutions, or do we just eat cake!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't kid yourselves that any othe party would be any different The British Government has no control over the profits of domestic fuel companies or international oil companies!. It is totally naive to think they do!. There might be a little more control over domestic fuel had the Tory, Margaret Thatcher, not privatised everything in order that the Tory's pals in the City of London could get very, very rich!. As far as taxation goes, again, don't kid yourself!. ALL Governments tax and if a political party promises in an Election Manifesto to cut taxes, it's the first promise to be broken!. The only thing Gordon Brown could do to ameliorate the position would be to reintroduce a higher rate of tax on the better off - but he won't do that as he doesn't want to alienate those tax payers in the (vain) hope they might vote for him again at the next General Election!. And as for a future Tory Government introducing such a measure - well, pigs might fly!. The trouble is that Western Governments have no real power whatsoever!. The reality is that the world is governed by multi-national corporations, from oil companies to MacDonaldsWww@QuestionHome@Com

I doubt very much if Gordon Brown will be executed!. Traditionally, that would be by an axe, not by the guillotine!. More likely by hanging!. That would require changing the law!. So, most likely he just resigns!.

We can only hope!.!.!. ;-)Www@QuestionHome@Com
