But the P39 was never as capable as the P38!. The Russians loved it, but the reason they got so many is because neither the Americans of the British wanted them!. And it was much more reliable than the Russian aircraft at the time!. I really prefer the style of the P38, it's a very nice looking aircraft, while the P39 always seemed a bit misshapen to me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The P-39 was basically obsolete before the war started!.
