Question: Can you tell me why the 1920s was described as a decade of conservatism despite new changes!?
I'm having a hard time answering this question on my essay!. I only have a small paragraph on it, because I can't seem to understand why this decade would be considered conservative despite all the liberal viewpoints!. Can you please help explain and give a few examples!? No, I'm not asking you to do my homework, I just need a little help, an example of how the nation was still conservative would help tremendously!. Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Prohibition!.

Otherwise known as the ban of liquor!.

This was passed by mostly conservatives, who believed it was an "evil" to society!. But it only increased crime!. I also think there was restrictions placed on movies during the late 20s (or maybe this was the 30s!?) that said "you couldn't kiss for longer then 3 seconds" and couples had to sleep in separate beds!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
