Question: Any good colleges to get a graduate degree in History!?!?!?
I've always thought that I was going to be a therapist when I grew up, but I've started to realize my passion for history!.

I can't explain it- but Its jsut really cool to see teh patterns between different societies and how all people's cultures connect!. It's really interesting!

I have enver heard of a college/university taht specialized in History, though!. Are tehre any good colelges where I can get a graduate degree while takling history courses!? I prefer European and World HIstory-- Not really american History, though!.

Even more important-- (other than a college professor!.!.) What GOOD jobs can someone get with degrees in history!?!?

Any help would be appreciated!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was also considering a history major until I realized there just aren't many "good" jobs out there, unless you pursue a Master's degree or a PhD!. I've found that most jobs for history majors are either archivists, librarians, or museum curators!. If you are a good writer you may have a chance in journalism, but a history degree (as fascinating as it is) will only place you just above someone with a high school diploma!.

I personally find the history of economics (adam smith, marx, bretton woods, etc) to be interesting, so i decided to major in economics!. It puts history, international relations, and political science all into one major and gives you relevant job skills!.
