Question: El Monje Machete, 14' blade 5' handle!. Anyone know any history!?

We;ve recently recieved an 'El Monje' machete from a yard sale!. It depicts a monk reading a Bible at the very end of the blade!. We've searched but have found no information regarding this particular type of machete!. The blade is 14' long and tarnished, but renewable!. Any information regarding the history and value of the blade would be appreciated, thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
