I would imagine He meant; 'may God protect me from my friends, since I am aware of my enemies!.'Www@QuestionHome@Com

He meant, that, those speaking out against racial equality would be forgotten, but those who did not have the courage to stand up for racial equality would certainly be remembered!.

I too have a dream!. I'm white, but, how long must discrimination continue before we realise that we are all God's children, regardless of what name we give to God!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think I means that when in conflict with another it doesn't matter what they said or did because they were against you but if those that were close to you weren't supportive or completely on your side while the conflict was happening then that is what is important because if they were really your friends or whatever then they'd support you and your position no matter what!. and EVERYONE IS EQUAL REGARDLESS OF RACE!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I dont know but I think it means that you should forget what your enemies say but rember you friends!. Sometimes you'r friends can say horrible stuff but you will remeber the silence of them meaning you will forget the horrible in them but remember the bad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

he meant one of two things, 1 that in the end we would all Be friends and stop the abuse!.
or he meant 2 that the so called friends that stand by and do nothing will be remembered when the fight is won!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is what is called in America "The silent majority" , people who do not agree with the way things are, but keep silent about them, thereby allowing injustices and abuses to continueWww@QuestionHome@Com
