Question: Where does the expression "man-alive!" come from!?
My grandfather (born 1910 in Oklahoma) used to say this all the time!. He would put special emphasis on the 'A' in 'alive!.'

For example: during the dummer of 1986 he would stand in front of the tv during the Iran-Contra hearings and point at Oliver North and say something like "Liar!" Then he would shake is head and say "man-Alive!"Www@QuestionHome@Com
