Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Gandhi was a pivotal force for freedom & human dignity in South Africa and India!. He influenced a generation of non-violent peace activists, including MLK, and is revered as a great soul by Indians to this day!. The Dalai Lama is good, but not nearly as important as Gandhi!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Gandhi lived in a tougher era, he also had more influence over the world!.
