Question: Where can I find the history of Illesheim germany airfield!?

So I am stationed here, (libraries won't do me much good, seeing that I'd have to learn german), and I'd like to know a little bit of history of the airfield I work on!. I know it used to be a nazi base in WWII, but a little more info would be awesome!. Books I can purchase, websites, anything would be a great help!.
