Tradgedy was followed by Black Deathwhich arrived in Europe via the trade that had flourished in the Mediterranean in the thirteenth century!. Over the period of the plague more than one-third of the population of Europe perished!. People reacted to the disaster in a variety of ways, with fear, despair and distrust of many of the institutions that were the foundation of medieval society!.

One reason that crops failed is that the earth was in a mini ice age!. I snowed in july and all that!. It lasted a couple hundred years!. Just google search little ice age!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
