Excluding the Lexington and Concord event (and the retreat back) and the Breed's Hill / Bunker Hill assault, the numbers were very low, indeed!. In various small scale raids and sniping actions, some 35 British troops were captured and perhaps 20 killed or wounded, while I could find mention of only 19 American casualties during this time!. If you include Lexington and Concored (British casualties 273, Americans around 100) and Bunker Hill (British casualties just over 1,000 and Americans around 470), then the number is much more significant!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
