the berlin wall was built in the 1960's to keep either other out of thier terriortories it wasn't until 1989 that people in germany wanted the wall taken down and both east germany and west germany no longer existed so then it made up olny into germany so thousands and millions of people came with hammers and pushed down the wall one by one and it was televised all over the world in Nov of 1989 hope this imfortmation helps good luck on your report!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
