i love watching the history channel and discovery channel!. They educate you, but they do it in a way thats much more exciting than some lame as$ teacher droning on about it in a lecture!. I love how they go in depth about the things they tell you!. they dont just say ''hitler invaded france'', they tell you his motifs, his strategy, his losses and gains from doing so, etc etc!. You really broaden your mind when you watch these thwo channels!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The History Channel gives 'pop' history that often has mistakes in it!.

For instance I was watching a program where they showed a map of the Western Desert Campaign (in WWII) and they had Tobruk in Egypt, not in Libya!. More often when they talk about one type of aeroplane they show footage of a totally different aircraft!

1!. You can get an 'overview' of an event

First of all I find by watching the history channel, and the discovery channel, I have learned how to spell the word channel!.

I feel the shows that have been presented on both stations, present a realistic time line, putting things in an easy to follow sequence!. I watch the History Channel's series on the Civil War, but this is not my only reference!. I also own hundreds of books on the subject, and documentary movies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
