Question: Can You answer these two Assyrian Questions!?
Hey I'm Assyrian and would like to get to know a bit mor about my culture -- in the ancient days however!.

Just two relatively easy questions to any experts i guess!.

1) When did the Assyrian Empire/'Assyria' the Country cease to Exist!? (an exact date isn't oviously needed but would be helpful)

I would guess that it's after Jesus' time at some point, maybe a hundred or so years!?

2) How many is the most amount of Assyrians in the population ever!?

I would really like to know this!. I know currently there are 3!.4million (speculated - apparently anywhere from 2-4 million)

A Big Thanks to anyone that can help me :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey I can only answer the First question sorry!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
The Assyrian empire reached its height around 721-705 B!.C and it was a large and powerful empire that controlled even northern Egypt!.
The Empire was destroyed around 612 B!.C by the Medes and Scythians when they sacked the capital Nineveh!. However the country of Assyria although never independent again did survive in name and culture during the centuries that followed and slowly faded away as new peoples and empires came and went!. I hope this helps you a bit!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
