Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Because the Jews were the only ones rebelling against the Roman Empire!. The Jews always had a reputation of being incredibly difficult to control!. The Romans knew of the many times they rebelled against Persia, and they did the same with Rome!. Despite what the Romans did (sack Jerusalem, executions, heavy military presence), they still rebelled!.

Not to mention that they were incredibly difficult to convert to the Roman religion!. In the end, the Romans decided that the best way to deal with the Jews were to separate them!. Without their large numbers, they couldn't have power!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

By making an example of the Jews it would send a message to all others hoping to rebel against Rome - dont do it! They proved it in 70 AD when they sacked Jerusalem and took 140 tons of gold and silver back to Rome from the Temple!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just wanted to add that the Jews were the first to rebel and lasted the longest in their rebellion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
