He was chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany formed in the western areas occupied by USA, Britain and France!. Ended the state of war with these three mentioned countries, and help rebuild the nation and make it peaceful and democratic after the nightmare with Hitler and his Nazis!. The other half of Germany, Soviet zone, became the Democratic Republic of Germany!. Adenauer was chancellor from 1949 to 1963!. Herr Adenauer died in 1967!. Germany will not be united until 1990 under Chacellor Helmut Kohl, a former Adenauer follower and assistant!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
