Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The leaders of the insurrection had to come up with some justification for their treasonous act of supporting armed insurrection against the British government!. Of course, the real reason - so that the elites of American society could develop economic relationships with other nations and be free of British mercantilist rule - was insufficient to mobilize and motivate the masses to support the Revolution!. So, the Americans deigned to suggest that the right to rule belonged only to those to whom the body politic had given the right to rule and that, in particular, monarchs like George III did NOT receive the right to rule by divine right!.

Many copies of the Declaration were made!. One was sent to General Washington on the battlefield, one was sent to King George, and others were distributed throughout the colonies!. The handwritten version at the National Archives is not, in fact, the ORIGINAL Declaration (the document that was approved by the Continental Congress), but rather a copy that was made a number of days after July 4!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We mailed a copy of the Declaration of Independence to King George the III!. The original copy was kept here for safekeeping!. The founding fathers probably thought it was to valuable a document to be left in the enemies hands!. Even though it's probably bigger today than it was than, they still must have cherished the document because it established the USA as a country!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Declaration of Independence is kept in the National Archives in Washington, D!. C!. It is not the original or the first copy!. It is the oldest printed version with all the signatures of the Continental Congress who were present for for the debate!. The original that was debated and edited is in the Library of Congress under Lock and key in the Jefferson Reading Room!. It was edited by Ben Franklin and John Adams, and hand written by Jefferson!. The one that was sent to King George is one of 3 copies that were hand copied and signed by all who were in congress on July 2nd 1776!. One of them went to France, one went to Parliament and one went to King George III!. The signatures on the Declaration of Independence were a promise not only to King George, but to each other!. They would risk everything they had or cared about for the cause of freedom, their lives, the lives of their families, their reputations, their fortunes, everything!. That is what makes a patriot, the willingness to risk everything for the cause of freedom!. Only a few people now a days are willing to risk anything for the cause of freedom, much less everything!.

The Declaration of Independence is a very unique document and is the only one of its kind in the world!. What it did changed the whole world!. It stated the facts that no one can take away the basic right of freedom from anyone!. That we were give the right of freedom and life from our Creator!. Many nations in the world have tried to copy this basic belief and all have failed but one, of course we were the only country with George Washington!. The United States continues to help all the world find the goal of freedom, but only our own selfish traitorous ignorant liberals prevent this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually we did share it with the world and many countries used Jefferson's Declaration as a guide for their own nations!.!.!.like Flanders, Haiti, Venezuela, New Zealand, Liberia, Czech, Vietnam, Israel and Rhodesia!.
The US has this because we were founded by brilliant men who were willing to risk their lives for something they believed in!.!.!.something we rarely see in society today!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
