Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Totalitarian regimes is primary!. Hitler was looking for war!.
Appeasement was secondary!. Hitler was going to war no matter what!.
Failure of market economies was secondary!. High unemployment made people vote for Hitler!. Depression in America made people want to stay out of Europe!.
Failure of diplomacy is a distant cause!. Hitler and Tojo were set on war!. No diplomacy was going to stop them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To answer your question if this is homework, the standard answers would be:

Primary:
-The rise of totalitarian regimes because we won and remain while they lost and have no voice!.
-The failure of diplomacy because diplomacy failed at Munich to stop the Germans from wanting more lands that the Allies did not want them to have!.

Secondary:
-The failure of market economies can be argued since it allowed Fascist and Communist powers to replace them where they failed!.
-Appeasement, though this is a far stretch to say that had the Allies not dealt with Hitler at Munich that war would have been prevented!. Instead of starting in 1939 it may have started in 1938!.

Overall though the primary cause, as stated by one answerer, is WW1!. Objectively speaking, the French and British did not want to see Germany dominate the continent since its unification in the 1870s!. The two were however unable to enforce their wills on the battlefield in WW1 and it only ended in a draw after American troops came in to prevent a total Germany victory!. WW2 only continued what the French and British had still been intent on preventing and still had no power to prevent on their own!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
