Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Colditz, the infamous camp where escapers were sent, eventually contained many nationalities, including Australians, Poles, French, Belgians, Brits, Dutch, other Commonwealth nations, Americans etc!. The nationalities tended to separate themselves, and this was encouraged by the authorities, there were four main divisions, Poles, British (and Commonwealth), French and Dutch!.Www@QuestionHome@Com There was probably great tension due to all the stress, trauma and racial tensionWww@QuestionHome@Com |
