The Minnesota massacre refers to the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears in 1976 when Fran Tarkenton threw for 480 yards and 5 touchdowns, leading Minnesota to a 53-0 win!. In that same year, many residents of Minneapolis became upset over a garbage strike that stunk up the city and filed a class action lawsuit against the city!.!.!.about 300,000 people joined the lawsuit, which became known as the "Minnesota Sue Outbreak"!.
