If you want to get really technical about it, the first man to die was Mitochondrial Adam!. By studying Mitochondria in our cells, we can surmount that the first homo sapien male evolved between 60,000 and 90,000 years ago!. His Y-Chromosome was the genetic father of all modern man!.

Keep in mind that a favored proverb in Evolution is that "all animals are transitionary animals", so Adam would have been living with relatives who were very close genetically to him and interbreedable!. Remember that there were several species of hominids that were extremely similar to homo sapiens, such as Neanderthals!.

Adam's superior evolution proved to be the dominant genes in his family, which is why, over the millenia, homo sapiens became more and more widespread, while the other hominids gradually became extinct!. Unless one of his true human sons died before he did, it is safe to assume that Mitochondrial Adam was the first man to die!.

And if we assume that by man you ment mankind or humankind, then the first true human was actually Mitochondrial Eve, the first true homo sapien, who lived about 140,000 years ago!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
