I can;t believe someone can do something like that! also I read this book about an Armenian girl telling her story and it made me think about this issue!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Several countries do not accept that it was a genocide, that does not mean that the events did not happen or that they are denied, just that the definition of the word genocide is not fulfilled by the events!. Why would major partners in the Coalition against Iraq not accept it as genocide!? The same partners that uses Turkey for airbases, while Turkish forces carries out attacks on Kurds in Iraq; and who are partnered in Afghanistan by Turkey and other NATO nations – you draw your own conclusion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com When I read the dictionary meaning of the word, genocide, I agree that what happened to Armenians can be defined as genocide!. On the other hand, George W!. Bush is not an ordinary person!. He cannot decide base on personal assessments but it would be a political and legal decision base on convention on the prevention and punishment of the crime of genocide!. Furthermore, arguments that occur between governments can only be ruled by the International Court of Justice!.
