Taylor was Jefferson Davis' father in law, though the daughter died not too long after they were married!. Varina, who was Davis' wife at the time of the Civil War was not Taylor's daughter!.

I've looked and I can't find any relationships aside from sons, in the instance of the Adamses, Harrisons, and Bushes, other than that Theodore Roosevelt gave Eleanor Roosevelt away at her wedding, as her father had died!. The Franklin Roosevelts were distant cousins, though Eleanor was more closely related (by birth) to TR!.

And Liferyder was close, but Pat Nixon wasn't Ike's granddaughter!. Julie Nixon, the Nixon's eldest daughter, married David Eisenhower, the grandson of the former President!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are aware,of course, That John Adams, our second president, has a son, John Quincy Adams, who was also president!. However, I am stumped by the son-in-law question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

!? None!. Nixon married Eisenhower's grand-daughter, But that is as close as ANYthing you are asking; at least in the USA!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
