Question: NEED HELP!!! About Scotland!?

Ok so I have this HUGE thing im doing about Scotland and the great depression! so I need to get info on a bunch of things like how much did the great depression effect Scotland!? And what was it like living in Scotland all those years ago were u frowned upon if u were a girl and didnt wear a dress!? Anyway,I don't know much,except that the depression hit Scotland hard because the lower class depended alot on Potatos,which for some reasons topped growing,which pretty much started the depression!.
Back then all girls were frowned upon if they didn't wear a dress,in Scotland and America,girls in the US had to wear skirts no matter what,same in scotland!.It was pretty much that wya for awhile!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You subject is very hard to look up!. I would find a site with Scottish history then look up the years!. Remember when the US sneezes the rest of the world has a cold!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
