Question: What do you think of the Mayan prophecy!.!.!.!?

That says "On 21st December 2012, There shall be a great flood, which will mark the beginning of a new age"!?
Or something of that ilk, but anyway, what do you think it means!? Could it have to do with this rising oil-prices propaganda!? And, all the superpowers, wannabe superpowers, future supwerpowers seem to be updating their armed forces, almost as if for something major!.!.!.!.could it be something to do with an oil-war!? And do you think, it's the end, or just the start of a new age!? I mean, it'd be funny, for people to be panicking on the 20th of december 2012, that they're all about to die, and for the day itsself just to be another boring day, it would be funny!.!.!.!.lol

I believe that it is just an expression, as you intelligently pointed out that it is the beginning of a new era!. Time's will change!. It is the begging of what has ended!.

There was also a lot of hype behind the 6th of 6th month in 2006 at 0606, remember!? Religious folk claimed it to be the end of the world!. Selling all their belongings, enjoying life!.!. then waiting to die!. And guess what!.!.!? They didn't!. :) All to the amusement of the rest of the world!

For weeks and months before the turn of the century!.!.!.1999 into 2000, we were all trying to figure out what the heck was going to happen, was the world going to end!? were we going to spontaneously combust!? no one knew and when the ball dropped and 2000 came in!.!.!.silence and then cheers!.

Well I guess we have 4 years to see!. But don't hold too much by prophesies!. They are very vague!. For ex: The 1930-50 thing!. Yes, it's safe to assume that in a 20 year period at lesast one country will be occupied by foreigners!. At least one person will feel sad!. At least one person will be oppressed!.

There will always be someone or something shouting that it's the end of the world !. People have been predicting the end of the world since the time of the Romans !. Foreign occupation , sadness and oppression have been happening since the first tribe of humans met up with the second tribe of humans !. General predictions are meaning less !. Think if you were a Mayan priest would you predict the end of the world in your own time or in some distant future time !. If you predict it in your own time and it doesn't happen the leaders would have your heart hacked out !. The ancient Maya understood this 26,000 year cycle to be specifically composed of 5 lesser cycles, each 5,125 years each!. Each of these 5 cycles was considered its own World Age or Creation Cycle!. Its another "doomsday" prophecy!.!.!.there is no lack of them, and no lack of the intepretation being doom!. You have to remember!.!.!.to the ancient peoples, everything, and I mean every single thing, in their lives was tied into their beliefs, their religious beliefs!. Every prophecy they made was about the ending of one thing and the beginning of another!. The Maya prophecies are no different!. Jaguar, wind, rain and water each had a specific deity, each embodied a different relation of those deities to humanity!.
In a world where the presence/reality/belief in God is questioned on a regular basis, where religion comes under attack as easily and often as it does, where the centers of belief have proven faulty, it is no wonder that humanity is loooking for prophecy, even if it is prophecy of doom!. Humans have proven we are unable to govern our own actions, that we are unable to find answers to questions like why are we here, and where do we go when we die, so we look to seers and mystics for answers that our logical selves would reject on any other given question!.

I came across a piece of information that would bring some light on why we might experience a shake up on Dec!. 2012!. Turns out the black hole may have magnetic poles just as our Sun and Earth do!. If we become aligned with its equator, as scheduled, and both our Earth and the black hole have their poles oriented in the same direction, then we could be in for a spin since like poles repel each other!. Seems to me there is a 50/50 chance of this happening since I am not sure what the pole orientation for the black hole is now!. Up until a few days ago, I was not even aware that the black hole may have a magnetic field too!. It seems plausible since matter is made up of energy that contains both positive and negative particles!. I don't know what effect if any, great gravitational forces would have on those particles and their properties!. I guess will just have to wait and see!.

The following cycles are most relevant to what may occur in 2012!. There is the 25,625 year "Galactic Day" and the 5,125 year "Long Count"(Great Cycle)!. Both of these are set to END and RESTART on the Winter Solstice of 2012 (11:00 UST Dec!. 21, 2012): That is unless we are affected by another 2012 Mayan Prophecy; I'll get back to that later!.

Let's start with the "Galactic Day"!. As we travel around the Milky Way galaxy, it is my understanding that we do not remain at a constant distance nor at the same orientation in relation to the black hole at its center; a black hole the Maya refer to as the supreme creator, "HUNAB KU"!. Instead, we move closer and further from this black hole!. As we move in closer, we simultaneously become aligned with the Milky Way's equator or "The Tree of Life" as the Maya call it!. Upon doing so, we may become exposed to "HUNAB KU's" opposing magnetic forces which would cause our Sun to eject intense solar flares and Earth to experience a magnetic pole reversal (Pole Shift)!. In the years that we have been furthest away from ,"HUNAB KU", we have been dense low vibrating energy and have been experiencing our dark spiritual years: These years have been part of the "Galactic Night"!. The "Long Count" evenly divides the "Galactic Day" into five equal parts (25,625 years / 5 = 5,125 years)!. It is my understanding that this cycle also coincides with a natural rhythmic beat that is derived from the black hole at the center of the galaxy in the form of an energy pulse!. This energy pulse presumably has multiple effects on us and our surroundings!. It not only helps us to become enlightened beings for twenty years, but can reek havoc on Earth by creating larger solar flares which can bring drought, famine, earthquakes, volcanic activity, and tsunamis!. There is one more Mayan Calendar I could share with you called "The Nine Underworlds"!. It is one of the more recently rediscovered calendars and may be the most important one, in so far as the 2012 prophecies are concerned!. It is a calendar that has recorded the state of consciousness from the beginning of time (The Big Bang) to Dec!. 21, 2012!.
