It would seem my friend that mankind is either unable or unwilling to permanently banish war from the face of the Earth!.

Personally I feel both reasons are true!.As long as powermad individuals are ruling some of the nations they will always find a reason to send their lambs to slaughter!.

It would also seem that violence is part of human nature,disagreements have ended in war of some sort for as long as mankind has been civilized,or maybe I should say uncivilized,enough to to organize and wage them!.

What you speak would be nice indeed but don't hold your breath!.

Remember that WWI was called the war to end all wars,yet it spawned WWII and subsequently had some kind of influence on all of the wars and politics of the 20th century!.

There never has been nor will there ever be a time when the earth will be at peace!. People will always fight over resources!. From two hunter-gathers fighting over a dead deer to nations committing their entire nations ecnomic base to oil or wealth!. There will always be war!. Peace is the exception, not war!.
