Yes they did!. Many had the type of traps where halls would lead to dead ends, also copper pieces were placed on blocks so if the block came down on a path the block and copper pieces would be bigger than the hole it fell through!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not really!.

They were apt to be somewhat labyrinthine in design, though nothing that would really have foiled determined explorers (and we know the plans to most pyramids don't we!?), but you'd not find the kind of traps made notorious by dungeoncrawling roleplaying games or Raiders of the Lost Ark!.

The best defence was filling up all the corridors with stones and building walls to make defilers believe they had reached a dead end!. This may have worked, as there is still dispute whether some pyramids have been fullly explored!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes it`s true!. They make traps because the were berried with a lot of gold and a lot of people were trying to get this gold!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
