Question: What is the significance of the statue of the Greek legend of the Titan, Prometheus, in the sunken plaza!?
at the front of 30 Rockefeller Plaza!?

According to Greek mythology, Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity!. By doing so, he gave humankind all the skills and arts, so he is metaphorically the source of human technology and progress!. He also represents the independence of humans from the gods!.
