I find it interesting that you MENTION the Roman Empire, but don't count their conquest of much of Europe as one of the invasions!.

A lot of places have been invaded a lot!. three times like that isnt a big deal!. Plus there were other leaders who invaded a good part of Europe!. And the weather is decent!.
