Medieval Muslim families were firmly tied to the tribes they belong to!. It would be normal for an average Muslim individual at that time to know his/ her fathers name all the way to the great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather!. He would also know many of his/ her relatives & distance relatives!. They would visit each other, do things together, and manage their money together!.

You could find a family of farmers, carpenters, merchants, etc!. If one family member had some money problem, the whole family would help!. If they couldn’t do much they’ll get help from the tribe members!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
