Question: Question about "Last Doughboy"!?
Okay, so there's this guy whose name is Frank Buckles who is the last survivor of WWI!. An article by George Will says, "Buckles is reading David McCullough’s “1776!.” That date is just 18 years more distant from his birth than today is!."

Can someone explain this quote to me!? The 18 years part!. It's probably something obvious that I'm just not getting!. Sorry it's early!Www@QuestionHome@Com
