Question: Does anyone know which King of the UK was the last to physically lead his troops into battle!.!?

All the other answers are mistaken!. The United Kingdom was formed in 1801 by the Act of Union which included Ireland with England, Wales and Scotland to form the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland!.

No monarch since 1801 has been present during a battle!.

The last King of England to lead troops was George 2nd (Hanover) in 1743, at Dettingen, as stated by other answers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Richard The Lionheart died in 1199AD, and the United Kingdom was formed in 1706 over 500 years later!.
Richard's younger brother John led armies in several battles, as did John's son Henry the Third!. Henry's son Edward the First was one of the greatest military leaders in Medieval Europe!. Most of the medieval and renaissance Kings of England led troops into battle!.
