Such a challenging question! Yes, I know some of my history!.

I think the way you are attempting to challenge others is quaint - but why not challenege yourself and find the information on these historical figures yourself!? As for the "Best Answer for who knows the most," I have seen dozens of "Best Answer!!" and "10 points for the Best Answer!" inn the Vote: Undecided Questions section!.

1) Adam Smith (baptised June 16, 1723 – July 17, 1790 [OS: June 5, 1723 – July 17, 1790]) was a Scottish moral philosopher and a pioneering political economist!. One of the key figures of the intellectual movement known as the Scottish Enlightenment, he is known primarily as the author of two treatises: The Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759), and An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations (1776)!. Giuseppe Garibaldi

July 4, 1807 – June 2, 1882
He was an Italian military and political leader!. In his twenties, he joined the Carbonari Italian patriot revolutionaries, and had to flee Italy after a failed insurrection!. He then contributed to the independence of Uruguay, leading the Italian Legion in the Uruguayan Civil War, and afterwards returned to Italy as a commander in the conflicts of the Risorgimento!.
He has been dubbed the "Hero of the Two Worlds" in tribute to his military expeditions in both South America and Europe!. He is considered an Italian national hero!.

Fran?ois-Dominique Toussaint L'ouverture

Born 20 May 1743 - Died April 8, 1803
He was an important leader of the Haitian Revolution!. Born a slave in Saint-Domingue, in a long struggle for independence, he led enslaved Africans to victory over Europeans, abolished slavery, and secured native control over the colony in 1797 while nominally governor of the colony!. He expelled the French commissioner Léger-Félicité Sonthonax, as well as the British armies; invaded Santo Domingo to free the slaves there; and wrote a constitution naming himself governor for life that established a new polity for the colony!.
