The PIRA caused more casualties!. Not all were in the British Army, alot were civilians!. Most deaths occurred in N!. Ireland (Ulster) from bombings!. IRA members were not easy to kill as they developed their methods into the 70's!. Alot were caught and jailed and executed thereafter!. Remember the IRA were the aggressors in the Troubles and therefore attacked more deliberately, and caused more deaths!. If I knew the numbers I'd give them, I would say it is 2,000 British deaths and about 2-300 IRA deaths!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
