The treaty that ended the first world war weighed so heavily on the German people that it caused resentment and all the conditions to help him gain a foothold on the government!. Like many politicians he had his agenda and recognized an chance to promote it!.
Once he was in power, many leaders in the world sold out the Austrians, Poles and Czechs in the name of pacifism!.

While it is Hitler who began the war by taking over Poland and Czechoslovakia and uniting Germany and Austria, it is not entirely his fault!. The Western Democracies appeased Hitler due to pacifism, poor economics, and to avoid another war!. also, Hitler so easily took over due to the Treaty of Versailles at the end of World War II!. The treaty weakened Germany economically and politically, so it was easy for Hitler to step in!. So, it was mostly Hitler's fault, but some of the fault is on the treaty and the Western Democracies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
