im not american im english but its B!.
loads of americans believe that they won the war for england and their allies but it aint true!. yeah they helped alot but it wasnt down to them!.
actually if you think about it americans saved us in world war 1 cos if it werent for the americans joining in we would have lost because, at the time they joined in, the german army was over powering us!.
good old woodrow wilson!.!.!. :) lol
good old woodrow wilsonWww@QuestionHome@Com

B) The U!.S!.A was on the winning side of World War Two
Because they were with the Allied Powers (USA, Britan, Russia, Austrailia, Canada) wedid not win the war by ourselves!. Even though without us, the axis would have won and we were the biggest part in the Allies!. We partisipated in Operation: Torch (North Africa), Operation: Husky (Sicily + Italy) Operation: Overlord (France) Operation Market-Garden (Holland) and many other operation!. We had the most defended beaches on D-Day, our Airborne troops took Carentan and Brecour Manor!. And our Rangers climbed Point du Hoc!. We also survived Battle of the Bulge !.
Gen George S!. Patton pushed all the way through Europe in a meraculice amount of time!.
So without us, enen though we didn't win the war by ourselves, we might stilll be under the rule of Nazis!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Can't possibly be anything other than B!.

Even if WWII consisted solely of the Pacific Theatre, where the Americans did the brunt of the fighting, it still wouldn't be only our victory, as we had help from numerous countries in that theatre as well!. As for the European theatre, that appears to be much more a shared load!. Sure, us Americans did well, and we did it alot!. But so did the Soviets, the British, the Canadians, and a slew of others like the French Resistance, the Norwegians, the Dutch, the Belgians, the Greeks, the Czechs, the Polish, especially with their pilots, and a slew of others!.

World War certainly implies more than the U!.S!. And if I'm not mistaken, the Americans weren't at the battle of Stalingrad, the bloodiest battle in the history of the world!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A) The U!.S!.A won world war ll!.

D-Day, June 6, 1944, is the day that British, Canadian, and American Allied Forces invaded occupied France, and began the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany!.

It was also the turning point of WW2's war in The Europian Theater!. It turned the war in the allies favor

Answer
D-Day was the invasion of Nazi occupied Europe by the Anglo-American armies!. We had spent years building up our forces in England and fighting the Germans around the periphery of Europe but with the invasion of Normandy we began liberating Europe and moving toward the final defeat and conquest of Germany!. D-day was a major turning point in the war!.also the U!.S!. during world war 2 the us was defending themselves against japan and germany
They weren't really defending themselves!. They were helping the others out!. The US was sending tanks, jets, and soldiers to help the others, not themselves, since it was hard for them to get attacked!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

B!.

Of course it's B!. I think America can be thought of as the largest factor on winning the war in the Pacific!.!.!. but in Europe not a change!. 4 of 5 German casualties were ont he Eastern front with the Soviet Union!.!.!. not in the West!. Even in the West Britain put alot more sacrifice into than America!.

I'm not saying the war in Europe would be won without American help, but I am saying they did not solely win it at all!Www@QuestionHome@Com
