In a constitutional monarchy like Britain, Spain or Denmark, the Monarch does not have political power, and is ceremonial Head of State!. (Well effecitively anyway!. The Queen technically has enormous power as long as she never uses it!)!. The Head of the Government eg Prime Minister holds the main political power!.

In the USA the President is both, so, considering the present incumbent, I'd agree that this post should never be hereditary!.

Anyway, how could you choose a monarch in the USA!? I suppose we might let you have Harry if you asked nicely!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
