Question: How do I learn more about Archeology!?
I am a Sophmore in high school and I have just found a passion for history and acient cultures, please tell me What I should study and with what!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First, you must identify your main interests and "passions", because "history" and "ancient cultures" are a very broad field!.!.!. ;)

To do that, I suggest using the internet first - to "shop around", as it were!.

There is a WONDERFUL site called The Internet Medieval Sourcebook!.
(Heck, I'll throw in the rest of them, for good measure! ;)

For older history, google for "Archaeology" and it will get you a mind-boggling array of actually very GOOD websites, maintained by professional archaeologists!.

There are also fantastic textbooks available online (and free of charge!): for example, Wallis Budge's classic textbook on the Egyptian language (hieroglyphs)!.

And don't forget to read Arnold Toynbee's mastodontic history!.!.!. It's fat, but it's worth it!. ;)

Classics (Latin, Greek, History of the achient World) , Archeology is usually a complete degree as well!.
