I absolutely loved the History on these things that aired on the history channel about 8 months ago!.!.!.some of them were pretty wicked but one of the most infamous torture devices ever conceived was the Iron Maiden!.

Well, in England, the punishment for treason was to first be hanged until you've almost passed out, then cut down, and waken up with ice water!. Then you would have your limbs tied to horses, and have them yanked off when the horses ran in different directions!. They would then cut you open, and remove all of your organs accept for your lungs and heart, so that you would be alive for your decapitation!. (The cutting off of the head!.) The body would then be burned, and the ashes would be spread into the wind so that the person would die unknown and unhonored!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
