Question: Is there anyone who has spent time in a concentration camp in WW2!.!.!?

I know you would be much older than most of the people here!.!.!.but even if you have family that were I would like to hear what you have to say!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Like a previous question about the holocaust, I'd refer you to this site: http://www!.ushmm!.org/ Perhaps emailing someone there, may point you in the right direction!.

However, while there are WWII concentration camp survivors out there, like WWII veterans, they are dropping like flies!. For instance, my great uncle was a veteran who was captured at the battle of the bulge, and spent time in a POW camp, but died about 10 years ago!.

Frankly, and not to be too much of a smart ***, I think you'd have a better chance of winning the lottery than suddenly having one of them randomly answer you on Yahoo Answers!.

You need to contact people at the site I listed above, or do some more research on the subject to actually get in touch with one!.

Don't give up, many people are still VERY coherent well into their 90's and may be willing to talk to you about their experience if you wish!.

Btw, as a side note, people were still commissioned in the 20's and 30's to get stories, and pictures, from people who were involved in the American Civil War, and that had ended some 50-60 years earlier in 1865!

You do know anyone that was born on the year 1942 would be atleast 66!. And recall very little of any of the events that took place due to the age!.

Most people that actually witnessed what happened and lived are at the very least 80+ in age!. Good Luck trying to find someone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
