Wow talk about apples and oranges! Caravaggio is a greater painter by far!. Crucifixion of St!. Peter deals with the human condition while Gericault’s Raft of the Medusa was merely a political statement and perhaps a comment on Romanticism vs!. neoclassical!. I'll to the human condition any day over politics or art criticism!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do not think they are comparable~ Peter was martyred for Jesus Christ & what happened on the Medusa was from bad judgment & cowardliness~Www@QuestionHome@Com
